PERFORMANCE AND ACHIEVEMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CO-OPERATION DURING THE YEAR 2016-17

 

  1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

During the year 2016-17, the Department of Cooperation has provided financial assistance amounting to Rs. 1014.34 lakhs in the form of Share Capital, M. subsidy and Grant etc  to various Co-operative Societies for under taking business activities.

 

  1. HOLDING ELECTION OF CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES

To conduct the election of the cooperative societies is one of the important areas of concern to the Department of Cooperation. The achievement in respect of holding of election is encouraging.  District-wise election position as 31.3.2017 is shown below :-

  1. AUDIT POSITION OF THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES

During the year 2016-17, the Department has completed 750 units of Audit of accounts of various cooperative Societies. Deperatment has taken much effort for regularization of pending Audit of the cooperative Societies District wise position showing achievement in Audit is given below:-

  1. Audit fee collection

 

Levy and collection of Audit fee is a major source of Govt. revenue in the Cooperation Department. During the year 2016-17, audit fee amounting to Rs.12.30 lakhs have been collected which is reflected below:-
